Important: this is not a gambling app

Last Man Standing is a score-keeping and organisation tool for running a Last Man Standing football sweepstake among a group of friends or colleagues. It helps you track who has picked which team, who is still in, and who has paid.

The app does not handle, process, hold, transfer, or facilitate any money. It contains no payment processing, no in-app purchases for entry, no wallet, and no connection to any bank, card, or payment provider.

Any money that participants in a league choose to exchange between themselves is arranged entirely offline, privately, and independently of this app. The app has no knowledge of, involvement in, or control over any such arrangements. A "buy-in amount" you may enter is stored only as a number for your own record-keeping and a "paid / unpaid" marker you set manually — it moves no money and triggers no transaction.

This app is not a gambling, betting, gaming, or wagering service and is not intended to enable or promote gambling.

Who we are

This privacy policy applies to the Last Man Standing mobile application ("the app", "we", "us"). If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at dan@loppy.digital.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following information locally on your device so that it can function. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us or to any third party:

  • Player details you enter: the names of the players in your league, each player's status in the competition (in or out), and whether you have marked them as having paid their buy-in.
  • League settings you configure: the league name, a buy-in amount (a number for your own reference only), a currency preference, a buy-back-in option, and the football competition and starting week you have chosen.
  • Cached football data: fixtures, results, teams, and competition lists downloaded from a public football-data service so the app works quickly and offline.

Player names are provided by you, the organiser. Please only add other people's names with their awareness, and use nicknames if you prefer.

Information we do not collect

The app does not collect, request, or store any of the following:

  • Names, emails, phone numbers, or accounts belonging to you as the app user.
  • Location data.
  • Contacts, photos, files, or device identifiers for tracking.
  • Payment or financial account information.
  • Advertising identifiers or behavioural analytics.

Network use and third-party football data

To show real football fixtures and results, the app requests match data from a public third-party football data provider (football-data.org). These requests contain only the football competition and date range being viewed. They do not include any player names, league details, or any information about you.

The provider may receive standard technical request information (such as your device's IP address) as part of any internet connection, and processes it under its own privacy policy. We do not send them, and they do not receive from us, any personal data you have entered into the app.

How your data is used

Information stored on your device is used only to provide the app's features: organising your league, tracking picks and player status, recording your own paid/unpaid notes, and displaying football fixtures and results. It is not used for any other purpose.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data. Because your data never leaves your device and we operate no servers, there is no data for us to share.

Data retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app removes the app's locally stored data from your device.

Children's privacy

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, on our servers, because it has no servers and collects no personal information off-device.

Security

Because data is kept on your device rather than on our servers, it is protected by your device's own security (such as your screen lock and device encryption). We encourage you to keep your device secured and up to date.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected in an updated app release where appropriate.
